I tried an stuffed aubergine Sefardies inspire dishes and a baby lamb chops with potatoes and red peppers, really, really nice food and the vegetables to die for!!! I will recommended a visit.

Of course, you go to eat the food - which is faultless by the way and has been at Michelin standard for both occasions I have visited in the past 10 days - but the service cannot honestly be bettered. The waiters are attentive to an empty glass, a finished plate (and you will finish your plate) and a white wine that needs a little more chilling. They exceed what you would expect in every way. Most of all, I like the ambience at Remigio. It's a place with a touch of class, with proper table settings, crisp table cloths and wooden panelling around the walls. It's the right 'size' for a restaurant too - strange thing to say maybe - but there must be a perfect size for a restaurant and this is it! I think Remigio is well worth a visit, all the more so if you want the very highest quality of food and wine this region of Spain can offer.

5. Taberna Pub Bronx

118***47The snacks here are the best I have eaten in Alfaro. After a few days, my husband and I came to this one. A person of 20 euros can eat very well. Their snail tastes good. This tavern is a minute ahead. It is Mirador de las Cigüeñas. If you are tired, you can enter the tavern to have a cup of coffee. The per capita consumption is not very understanding. Like the cafe, a cup of coffee is more than two euros. Every time my husband and I come, two people will consume 30 euros and eat it.
